Dr. Reeta Rai
Country Project Coordinator, Chemistry Subject Lead, and Chemistry module developer.
Dr.Reeta Rai is a lecturer and the Coordinator for the STEM Education Research Centre (STEMRC) at the Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan. She has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and a master's degree in chemistry. She teaches chemistry, environmental science, and teaching methods to student-teachers at the Bachelor, Postgraduate, and Masters levels. Aside from teaching, she has been actively involved in numerous research projects, some of which were funded by international organizations such as HELVETAS, DANIDA, UNFPA, and NORAD. Her research interests are in STEM education, environmental science, and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK).

Dr.Kinley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Science Education at Samtse College of Education (SCE), Royal University of Bhutan (RUB). He received PhD in Educational Technology from Aalborg University, Denmark in 2016 and M.Sc in Botany from University of New England, Australia in 2006. Besides teaching and research he served as Head of Department (HoD) in Professional Studies (2008 -n 2011), HoD for Science Education (2016 – 2017) and Dean of Research and Industrial Linkages (2017 – 2020) at SCE.

Karma Utha (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan. She has been a teacher educator since 2000 and has been involved in teaching learning and Assessment, research proposal development, advanced studies, teaching skills, teaching strategy, physics education, electronics, electricity and magnetism, optics and waves, magnetism and electromagnetism, heat and thermodynamics, properties of matter and energy, and mechanics at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has served as the Dean of Academic Affairs and was the Programme Leader of Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PgDE)and Diploma in School Science Laboratory Management (DSSLM). At the national level, she was involved in developing science curriculum framework for classes IV to XII and developing school science text books and teachers’ manual that are being used in the schools at present.
Bal Bahadur Mongar

Mr. Bal Bahadur Mongar is a senior Lecturer and a Programme Leader of B. Ed. Secondary programme under the Department of Science Education at Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan. He has Master’s degree in Zoology from Madras University, Tamil Nadu, India and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Samtse College of Education(PGCE). He was involved in developing modules in various programmes such as M. Ed., B. Ed., PgDE and Diploma in Science Laboratory.
